Wozzeck’s album “Act III: Comics” is the first release of Intonema label. The 47 improvised compositions with one main idea. Short tracks with unusual using of instruments and sound games by the musicians. This is the record of two Wozzeck's prime members: Ilia Belorukov and Mikhail Ershov with additional perfomance by guest musicians Dmitriy Vediashkin (Penny Flame), Dmitriy Krotevich (Wooden Plants), Mikhail Tsypin (Benzolnye Mertvecy) and Maria Grigoryeva (Mini-Orchestra). Piotr Kurek and Arturas Bumšteinas together as a duo made a remix for this record with another mood. This how we got 2 different stories in 1 release.

Ilia Belorukov (born 1987) is a saxophonist from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. He works in the direction of improvised, noise and electroacoustic music. Ilia practices an experimental approach of sound extraction on alto saxophone & fluteophone.

Ilia has played with such musicians as David Stackenäs (Sweden), Lucio Capece (Argentina), Ignaz Schick (Germany), Darius Čiuta, Arturas Bumšteinas, Arkadij Gotesman (Lithuania), Topias Tiheäsalo, Janne Tuomi (Finland), Edyta Fil, Rafal Mazur (Poland), Thomas Buckner, Eyal Maoz (USA), Yuriy Yaremchuk, Alla Zagaykevich (Ukraine), Vladislav Makarov, Roman Stolyar, Alexei Borisov, Vyacheslav Gayvoronskiy, Sergey Letov, Alexey Lapin (Russia) and many others.

He’s also member of many projects (Wozzeck, Wooden Plants, Les Phares, Dots & Lines, Punktieren etc.) He collaborates with musicians of other genres (from hardcore to academic contemporary music), with dancers and painters, with theater.
