About me:

Blast-O-Mat is an all ages community space! We have a policy of no racism, sexism, or homophobia, etc. We are in the process of becoming a self-sustaining entity dedicated to the production and promotion of all kinds of art and music. The space is made up of a record store, an art gallery,a storage space for bands, and a practice space. We now have a sound booth that is always evolving with new and improved sound equipment. All shows are on a sliding scale donation basis with a small portion of door money, after the touring band’s cut, going back into improving the space for you! In the future we hope to have a recording studio for both live recording and a private studio. We also hope to have a screen printing studio as well as more community based workshops/projects and resources.

Blast-O-Mat Records, which is the record store space is open during shows. If you have record requests or band merchandise/silk screen shirts to sell on consignment come by during a show and talk to us...

For booking please send us the dates you want to play, a demo, a short bio and sample lyrics in the mail to the address below. We don't accept online demos or myspace links, we need a hard copy. Please include contact info including a telephone number. We rarely do guarantees due to the fact that we are donation based and always will be. We will let you know as soon as we can either way. We, as the Blast-O-Mat collective, are building a base of volunteers and members to help create a large collective network. If you are interested in contributing to the art gallery, using Blast-O-Mat as a practice space, setting up a show, volunteering, or would just like to give us your input, please contact us.

All shows are all ages, no drugs and no alcohol and no glass! Usually start at 8pm and are $5 donation unless otherwise noted, please refer to flyers. The myspace calendar is updated about every two weeks. There will be bulletins if shows are canceled.
