Bio
Blue Railroad Train Combine an American veteran bluegrass player and three top French musicians who all share a common passion for traditional bluegrass and country music -- with the accent on that bluesy, high-lonesome sound – and you get Blue Railroad Train. The repertoire is delightfully unpredictable and includes bluegrass and old-time classics as well as country, swing, and even rock 'n roll tunes. They also have several original songs and instrumentals, all firmly rooted in the tradition. Blue Railroad Train's reputation for hard-driving, crowd-pleasing music reaches across two continents. In Europe, they've been featured at festivals in France, Switzerland, Holland, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Spain, and the UK. BRT has toured the USA three times, entertaining concert and club audiences throughout the mid-South, Midwest, and East Coast. They played six showcases at the IBMA World of Bluegrass, made two apearances at Byron Berline's Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival, played the Tri-State Bluegrass Festival in Indiana, and recently played the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. On this 15-track disc, Blue Railroad Train offers an incredible amount of variety, ranging from basic bluegrass to mainstream country. Blue Railroad Train has created an album with a few different twists that is totally entertaining from start to finish. Bluegrass Unlimited. This is a band that plays and sings with an energy that gets an immediate reaction from the audience. In five minutes, they had them out of their seats and dancing in the aisles. Franz Elsener, Over Easy Festival. Carefully blended harmonies, straight-ahead bluegrass instrumentation and a Gallic charm that has made this group one of the top European bands. Bluegrass Breakdown, The California Bluegrass Association. -

FLASH! Sacré bleu! BRT is just back from another fabulous tour of the USA, including the honor of playing the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Just enough time to catch our breath and get ready for our next mini-tour: ....
Cornwall, Bath, London, and Southampton, England.
Come on out and say hello!

Pamela Dahl You were under my favorites on the internet. I didn't relize we were not friends. I so much enjoy your music. And I'm a professional when it comes to the business. I have spent part of this night and many others sitting and listening to you guys. I absolutely love what you do. I do hope you continue everything like you're doing. I have seen you or meet you in the states once. How cool is that that you can do bluegrass in your native language...but you are true to the core on being traditional. I do wish you all the best and I know someday we will be on some of the same shows together. Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely weekend. Pamela Dahl
