This year we bring back Hoodstock to its birthplace - Miami’s 305 and it will be bigger and better. We are about reaching the artist and showing them the business of Hip Hop, talking to them about dress code, leaving the drugs alone and giving them opportunities to break through the closed door and showcase themselves on an international stage. This year we expect a better turnout then before of tens of ..thousands. We are launching not only a performance event but days of Empowerment, Trade Show and Celebrity Dinner and a Red Carpet Movie/Video show case. Thanks to the surge in popularity and celebration of the urban culture, through successful TV shows as America's Best Dance Crew and So You Think You Can Dance, the rise of Russell Simmons’ brands and the FUBU clothing lines as powerful examples, the event will be advertised in major universities and we will launch an aggressive campaign to get maximum press coverage. This event marks Hoodstock’s sixteenth anniversary. To celebrate it, Artists from as far away as Germany, Puerto Rico will join U.S. and Canadian performers and fans.
