    Case Closed biography 2012 and counting... Anj Avraam and Lambros Pardali grew up together and focused their lives on music from an early age. They became MCs through their love for lyrics, and spent several years mastering their style while actively working their way up through the underground. Case Closed formed in 2005, as the product of their combined influences, and they started producing music from a humble home studio. At the same time, a close friend of theirs, Kristian Rolfe, was busy pursuing his own musical path, playing in several bands that tasted their own share of success. Little did they all know that their music, despite being of different genres, would cause the reaction it did when it was combined. By 2008 Case Closed had become the only British born Cypriot rappers to have sold over 5000 mixtapes on the streets of Britain. That summer, they released their first album, Life Sentences, which they launched in Ayia Napa to thunderous appreciation. Case Closed toured across Cyprus with the proclaimed 357 Crew, who appear on the debut, and they became residents at a brand-new club in the centre of Ayia Napa. Lambros, Anj and Kristian delved further into the sound they had been developing, and by natural progression they began the writing of a brand-new album as three. By then their album had been accepted onto the catalogue of HMV where it immediately became a big seller. Their potential to rouse a huge, lively crowd was proved when they took a top prize away in Worcester's Got Talent in 2009. They had come up with several new tracks by this time and were showcasing them at a variety of live venues and open mics throughout the country. Continuing to represent their hardcore roots and conscious lyrical nature, Case Closed collaborated with other artists who they felt they had a connection with. One of these artists was Mud Fam member, Unkle Festa, who also appears on the Life Sentences tracklist. By 2010, Case Closed had made their first set of music videos, and had received the accolade of getting their rising underground hit, Crabs In A Bucket, featured in the new British film, Ex Cathedra which has just received distribution. In their rise to notoriety, Case Closed have featured on line-ups that include the likes of Devlin, Professor Green, Skinnyman, Pay As You Go Cartel and Shola Ama. They also recently hosted a earthtremblingly successful night headlined by Example. 2011 saw Case Closed impressing large audiences all across the UK at a string of open mics and outdoor events including Bridge Bash Festival, which was headlined by Ocean Colour Scene. As a natural part of their progression towards a meatier live sound, Case Closed have now enlisted drummer Nick Hobbis, formerly of Circuits, who had a number 3 hit in Japan, and Phil Elt, a basspplayer who has regularly played at Glastonbury Festival. Both are exceptionally attuned to the characteristic sound of Case Closed and bring out the best of both existing songs and brand new bangers. With the added depth of sound, Case Closed have truly become an act that are simply not to be missed live. They are currently recording what they believe will be their defining album. The first track to be released is the future hit, Already Gone, which they received great feedback from on BBC Introducing last month.
