In despair I challenged my brother to a duel and killed him. The witch showed Josette in a vision the horrors in store for her in being a vampire with me. Rather than living eternity as a vampire, she ended her life by jumping off Widows Hill. When I saw a modern-day reincarnation of Josette, in the form of Maggie Evans, I pursued her. But my attempts at love were to no avail, even after biting her and attempting to turn her into a vampire. When not feeding on the warm blood of my victims, I spent my time working with Dr. Julia Hoffman who attempted to cure me of this vampirism. My nemesis is a beautiful, blond-haired witch known as Angelique who black mailed me into marrying her and stalks me to this day. .. .. ..
