MYTHOLOGY Strange formation, unfileable and face lifted, Depotax fuses styles and imageries associated to different musical genres to better penetrate our bulbs. Destabilizing, stunning, bowlifying are the words that come to mind regarding the ubuesque performances of this hallucinated band, fetishists of the odd. On stage, these jolly fellows expire an undeniable wind of freshness on our sclerotic musical landscape. With the help of his engineman cousin Omar Kabil - aka «the Spongy» - and his dancing nieces Petrushka & Manushka (part-time astronaut hair dressers), Depotax projects his shamanic spell-binding rituals, witty blend of hymns to the unspeakable, of collapsed choreographies and syncopated projections. Of their songs issued from a language on the verge of emergence emanate the intention which pushes the egos to salutary introspection. A too full of emptiness disappear from under our feet. ....
