I did a charity event in Westminster,S.C. for the Relay for Life /American Cancer Society.I was asked to do this event from 7p.m. till 7a.m.//I accepted the offer with stipulations of my pain management and physical abilities or lack thereof. I ended up making it from 7p.m. till almost 10p.m. and had to exit because my ice packs and energy focus had both melted away! But my want was still there.Sad how when someone has good intentions that there still manages to be those pack of haters about that have to try to kick at someone who despite of disabilities ..Still attempts to give freely!I in my soul felt great about this event raising $147,000+ and still counting till August in only Oconee County!That alone to me is OUTSTANDING for this little corner piece of S.C.!****I RECIEVED NOTHING..BUT A COLA AND A CUP OF FREE ICECREAM FOR THIS..AND I AM TRULY THANKFUL FOR THAT AND TO BE INVOLVED WITH SUCH A MAJOR FUNDRAISING EVENT & GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS THAT WERE ORGANIZING IT!!YOU WERE ALL SO NICE AND THOUGHTFUL!DAVID THE P.A. MAN WAS AN OUTSTANDINLY PROFESSIONAL IN HIS SOUND PRODUCTION!!" I RECIEVED NOT ONE CENT AND EVEN IF I WAS OFFERED WOULD HAVE DONATED IT TO THE CAUSE!" ACTUALLY I DID DONATE my meager amount...which still matters!.I AM TRULY BLESSED BY GOD THRU ALL MY LIFE & SUFFERING TO HAVE SUCH WONDERFUL GIVING PEOPLE AROUND ME. In closing ...I have one thing to say.."Haters to the back of the line! Or step up to the plate of community efforts!" BEHIND EVERY SUCCESSFUL INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP..THERE LIES A GROUP OF HATERS...ALways*~Peace,Prayers,&Faith~>T.C.
