Biography
BIOGRAPHY
Fab Code started his career as DJ Fab in 1982. He built up a strong musical background and an undisputable dancefloor knowledge by surfing over 3 decades of dance music. The large range of styles he played throughout the years goes from funky to techno, new wave to house, and many sub genres. In 1988, when DJs started to get involved in the music production Fab joined the bandwagon to create and release his own sounds. The following year he will score a few hits in the charts and gets awarded with a gold record for selling 450.000 copies of "On Se Calme" by Bassline Boys, his first project. During the 90's releases will follow one another under various monikers such as Fax Yourself, B.S.R. and Defcon, just to name few. Leaving the music production to focus on his DJ career, in the late 90's, Fab played in some of the biggest clubs and parties accross Benelux (Belgium-Netherlands-Luxemburg) and France. Extreme, Illusion, Planet Hardcore, La Raza, Le Rancho, Zenith, Der Machine and Rave Energy are some of them. In 2010, after he left Belgium to settle in the UK, Fab gets back into production, releasing numerous EPs on different labels such as Kiss My Beat, Baroque, Mint & Mustard and Howz Choonz. End 2011 he became part of the mythical Bonzai family when he signed an exclusive artist contract with the label. The same year he played at Daydream Festival and Supersonic Festival alongside Tiefschwarz, Mason, James Harcourt, Tofke, Rogerio Martins, Yves Deruyter, The Fly and many others. 2012, the story goes on...
