Formed in Epinal (France)in 1996, Flying Donuts quickly give their first shows.
A demo cassette is outin 1997 and a five tracks CD follows in 1997.

Their name then starts toappear in fanzines and on compilations. The band shares shows with bands suchas Les Thugs, Seven Hate, Aina and Burning Heads. Little by little, the threefrenchmen get more experienced and confident as they are defining their ownstyle.

Last Straight Line, FlyingDonuts' first album is out on november 2001 and soon has to be repressed.They're playing more and more gigs, with bands from the emo glam connection(Second Rate, Dead Pop Club, Homeboys, SexyPop, Uncommonmenfrommars,X-Syndicate)and also at major French festivals like Les Eurockéennes De Belfort.

In the end of 2002, FlyingDonuts record four new tracks for a split they share with Second Rate. The bandstarts playing abroad in Spain, Switzerland, Belgium and Italy and has anotherfrench tour in 2003.

In 2004 they record theseven inch Back Off ! and a split with I Am Afraid To Depress (only availableon the web). Renewed Attack is released in 2006. This second album has beenrecorded by producer Harvey Birrell (Therapy?, The buzzcocks, Senseless Things,Mega City Four, Les Shériffs...) in Dijon (FR) and London (UK).

The third album Until themorning comes is available in 2009.

2014 sees the release ofthe fourth album : Still Active. 14 new songs of raw Punk-rock'n'roll with abit of pop and genius hard-rock gimmicks. Flying Donuts prove ones more theyare France's lethal sonic weapon. Still Active summarizes 18 years of wildexperiences on the road in 53 minutes.

With already more than 500gigs done and even more to come, Flying Donuts will be touring to promote"Still Active". Get prepared for the day they will rock your town.
