Blues For Gary Moore.

After Gary Moore tragically passed away in February 2011, we were in the Chicago Studios recording new songs that same month, so we decided with some of the musicians of Buddy Guy's band, to record Blues For Gary Moore on my vintage Gibson Les Paul gold top. The tribute was released early March 2011 by Blues Breaking Records USA.

Gary Moore was an early influence, when I was 14y, I named my 1974-75 Sydney blues rock band Skid Row, after Gary's Skid Row (a Dublin based blues rock band, 1968-1971 period). I was playing a 1971 Fender Mustang guitar in 1974-75, I later traded that guitar for a 1965 Fender Stratocaster in 1976 when I was 16y and went on to tour professionally with the Sydney band Siren.

Blues For Gary Moore remains my most popular song for download on iTunes, Amazon, and the internet in general. It has been placed many times on the Top 10 on several different charts in different countries.
