Something wicked this way comes - Hyoscyamus Niger, an emerging phenomenon in the Polish gothic scene have just released their debut album! The band's name, derived from the name of a poisonous herb used traditional medicine, is a good metaphore of the trio's musical philosophy. Their sound, comprised of mesmerizing mixture of darkwave and coldwave, along with seminal nods to the traditional 80's synthwave is one the band's foremost and most distingiushable merits. This, along with poetic lyrics and higly theatrical vocal delivery sums up to one of the most original and compelling bands of Polish dark scene - angsty, moody and psychedelic music which should easily find its way to the fans of minimal electronics, who yet wish to experience a thoroughly creative fruition of deeply rooted 80's inspirations. "Czas" is an another release from the DIY label Bat-Cave Productions, and is now available at Bat-Cave.pl mailorder.
