Infinitely passionate about music and inspired by sound, JR ST-ROSE started out with a heightenened interest in hip-hop and its vivid culture. Quickly getting to know CUT KILLER on Radio Nova 101.5 in 1994, he moves onto plunging head-first into scratch techniques and mixing by 1997. In 2000 JR reached a level that allowed him to set his first steps in clubs and private parties as top dj. Things took shape quickly as he decided to finish his studies with a BTS degree. Once that was complete, he came out with his first compilation in 2005: 'Need for Southside' was a success right away on the dirty hip-hop market -- 10,000 singles were immediately being distributed at Fnac and Virgin records. Expanding his circle of musical culture toward 2007 to include Pop, Rock and Electro, JR discovered a true goldmine in the idea of not only mixing and producing his own pieces but to play a role in the producition of music for other dj's. This way, JR was able to mix these two elements that he knows and loves so well. Clearly, mixing is always a vital part of JR's career, as he loves to be on the scene. Some of his favorite shows were at: PAPAGAYO (St-Tropez), B.BOX (Clermont-Ferrand), GARDEN'S club (PARIS), the famous Playa Y Fiesta : Collossos et Londonner (Lloret de Mar Espagne), EUREXPO (5,000 people) where he mixed alongside DAVID VENDETTA, LAURENT WOLF et GREG CERONNE. JR was the ermerging star warm-up dj for FREDELUX, CHRIS GUETTA, TEO MOSS, CHRIS GARCIA, GREG CERONNE. At the age of 28, JR ST-ROSE has already achieved one of his prime goals of publishing his hit single 'What You Need' featuring G-ONE, a House-Electro piece with the vocal soul of R&B, which tore up the dancefloors in France and all over Europe upon its release. passionné par la musique JR ST-ROSE commence tout d'abord à s'intéresser au HIP-HOP et sa culture il y prend vite goût en écoutant CUT KILLER sur radio nova 101.5 en 1994. C'est le coup de foudre, en 1997 il décide d'investir et s'entraîne sans relâche aux techniques de scratchs et de mix. En 2000 son niveau lui permet de faire ses premieres apparitions dans les clubs de sa regions et certaines soirées privé.

les choses prennent rapidement de l'ampleur alors il prend la décision de terminer ses études en obtenant son BTS. Une fois fini il reprend vite du métier et sort en 2005 sa première compilation Hip-Hop Dirty “NEED FOR SOUTHSIDE” c’est un success car elle se vend à plus de 10000 exemplaires en distrubution fnac, virgin. JR ST-ROSE ne s’arrête pas là et continue l’année d’après avec la sortie 2ème opus “NEW JACK R’N’B STYLE” en compagnie de son accolite Dj R’an sur laquel ils sortent 2 volumes de cette compilation, sans oublié “GET BUZZY” Vol 1 et 2 sortie en 2006. Il se fait remarquer et tres vite nous avons pu voir JR ST-ROSE mixé au coté de CUT KILLER, Dj ABDEL, BIG ALI, Dj GOLDFINGER …

2007 JR souhaite élargir sa culture musicale et s’interesse à la pop, au rock et aux musiques électroniques, une veritable mine d’or car il à en tête de produire ses propres morceaux et l’idée est pour de pouvoir mélanger toutes ces cultures dont il connait les secrets à force de travail et d’expériences durement acquises. Bien évidement le mix reste pour lui un besoin vitale car il aime faire “LE SHOW” : Le PAPAGAYO (St-Tropez), Le B.BOX (Clermont-Ferrand), Le GARDEN’S club (PARIS), les fameuses Playa Y Fiesta : Collossos et Londonner (Lloret de Mar Espagne), EUREXPO (5000 pers) ou il mixe au coté de DAVID VENDETTA, LAURENT WOLF et GREG CERONNE. JR participe aussi aux warm up de FREDELUX, CHRIS GUETTA, TEO MOSS, CHRIS GARCIA, GREG CERONNE…

A 28 ans JR ST-ROSE atteint l’un des ces objectifs et sort son 1er single “WHAT YOU NEED” Feat G-ONE, un morceau House-electro, un vocal Soul R’n’b, bref de quoi enflammer les dancefloors de France et d’europe ou d’ailleur. JR a pour but aujourd’ hui de s’imposer sur la scène des producteurs francais et ne compte pas s’arréter là. TO BE CONTINUED…
