Veteran Swedish alternative rocker Lars Bygdén was born in 1973 in the industrial town of Sundsvall.
He began his career in music in the mid-'90’s as a guitar player in the Scandinavian psych rock outfits Magic Broom and the Shades of Orange before forming the popular alternative country group the Thousand Dollar Playboys. The band released a pair of critically acclaimed albums before calling it quits in 2002. Bygdén released his solo debut, Trading Happiness for Songs, in 2005, followed by the conceptual Family Feelings in 2009. ~ James Christopher Monger
