Bio
.. ....Myspace Contact Tables.. .... ........The names Le Magnifiq the magnificent a man with chic. Born & Breed in the UK with West Indian heritage (Barbados). My rap game started way back in 1991 just by writing a few rhymes after being dumped by ex-girlfriend , however rewind further back to 1985 when I started to get involved with music & as a teenager back then I learnt to play piano/keyboards & drums & thats when I became fans of Sade & Level 42 with there songwriters of Phil Gould & his brother Boon(2 of the original members of Level 42) who influenced me to write songs & I never looked back. While on my journey started to work with music & from the mid 1980's & into the 1990's I had enough for an album but no label. So in 2001 after several rejections from big labels I created M1 Music Ltd in London & it became the home for only hip hop & r&b reggae etc. When the events of 9/11 took place my direction changed completely, so I jumped on to political rap & like before I've never looked back. Of course, I always check the facts before I write because you need to get the attention of the public because after all the decisions in parliament will affect everyone in the UK. 2004 saw the release of the album "Graffiti Junction", which I wrote & produced myself. I've been told by some that it's the most controversial album they have ever heard. For me it has been the most successful album released since M1 Music started in 2001. The most popular track is called "The Good,The Bad & The Idiot". A lot of anti-war people i have spoken to feel i've summed up the ill feeling about the war in Iraq. .. .... There have been a total of 5 albums released by M1 Music. 2000 & then re-released in 2004 The Ten Commandments of Le Magnifiq, 2003 The M1 Story, 2004 Life At A Fast Pace, 2004 Graffiti Junction, 2005 Graffiti Junction Part 2-The Struggle For Peace Continues... .... I've co-produced with the other M1 Allstars past & present such as Sylvimaree & Jenny Kosmowsky. I produced Sylvimaree's debut album "Just Life" as well as writing a few songs including "Frozen Sunshine & "Moments In Thought". In America we released the album "This Iz HipH'Opera" a combination of hip hop & opera. Its new & different & my favourite track of the album is "Mellow Vibes". It is also one of the most popular tracks from M1 Music. We aim to offer a new direction to the world even if its politically sensitive. I feel the people are not well represented so maybe music is the answer. In the summer of 2007 M1 Music released a single called "Foxy Girls" which is on the playlist & of course a follow up to the 1999 single "Girl Crazy", later on in 2007 brand new album called Sex Lies & Stereotypes was released the first album to be released advertising the publishing company under M1 Music called Northern Line Publishing Ltd which is also for Hip hop & R&B & Reggae dancehall & soul. The Free Palestine EP is out now,the most talked about release since Graffiti Junction & so my work is never done. I've come a long way since April 2001, who said you can't mix music with politics? If you believe, you'll stay on the path & your dreams will be forfilled. The Albums released by Le Magnifiq since 2000. ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... .. | ............ --->.... | ......Le Magnifiq..............Create your badge.... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... ....Le Magnifiq..............Promote your Page too.... <a href="https://twitter.com/LeMagnifiq" class="twitter-follow-button" data-show-count="false" data-size="large">Follow @LeMagnifiq</a> <script>!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");</script> -

Influences
......Over the years I've collected quite a few influences outside the hip hop & rap game. Including Freddie Mercury, Bono, Bob Dylan,Swing Out Sister, the songwriters Phil Gould & Boon Gould of Level 42 & of course Level 42. My Hip Hop influences are Eminem-being controversial, Common, NAS, D'Angelo, Tupac, Notorious BIG, Snoop Dogg, The Neptunes, Jay-Z,MC LYTE,EVE,Da Brat,P Diddy, since 1987 I've been listening to Eric B & Rakim. My favourite tracks are "I know you got soul" & "Paid in Full"(timeless classics!) & of course my biggest Influence of all-GURU(R.I.P) & GANGSTARR. Since 1992-3 I've sat down & listened to a lot of their stuff & the collaborations with others. So when it comes to the music it has to be Sade, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott are my favourite female singers. Finally my producer influences Timberland, & of course DJ PREMIER (Primo) of GANGSTARR. -
