The great saint of the Celts; St. Patrick.

    By Frank J Dougan

Patrick was born at Kilpatrick on the banks of the famous river Clyde and Glasgow, in the year 387.
His mother and father Calphurnius and Conchessa, were from Romans of high rank and held the office of decurio.
Kilpatrick, named after St. Patrick still retains many memorials of Saint Patrick.
Patrick was carried off into captivity when he was 16 by Pagans to Ireland and was sold into slavery to a chieftain named Milchu in Dalriada, a territory of the present county of Antrim.
He was a shepherd six years he tended his master's flocks
Patrick became fluent of the Celtic tongue as his master Milchu was a high priest of the Druids, he quickly became familiar with all the details his master and the Pagans.
After six years fled from his captors.
He found a ship at Westport ready to set sail and he was allowed on board.
Patrick fled to Britain and met St. Germain and put himself under his guidance, and it was at his hands that a few years

THE PRAYER OF AGREEMENT / VERY POWERFUL

You and I are part of a conquering army-
    - constantly claiming new ground for the kingdom of God.

But just about the time the army tops the hill and is ready
to advance, it seems that Satan pulls out his big gun--DIVISION-
-and scatters believers in every direction.

How can we strike back against the strategy of division?
By launching an even more powerful attack of our own.
By using one of the most powerful resources given us by the Lord Jesus:
    The prayer of agreement.

Jesus said that if any two of us would agree as touching anything we ask,
it shall be done! That statement is so powerful that people can find it hard
to believe. If they did, you'd find little groups of Christians huddled up in every corner
    agreeing together in prayer.

Find someone to agree with in prayer this week.
Be sure to base what you pray on the Word of God.
You may have differing opinions about everything else.
But you can be in agreement about the Word.

Also, be sure your agreement is total--spirit, soul and body.
Cast down arguments, theories and imaginations that are contrary to the Word.
Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
Keep a watch over your thoughts and your words.

Then get yourself in line by speaking the thing you've agreed on.
Act like you've already received the answer.
    Thank God for it.

"Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything
that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 18:19.

    THE MESSAGE OF MEDUGORJE
    August  25, 2009
“Dear children! Today I call you anew to conversion. Little children, you are not holy enough and you do not radiate holiness to others, therefore pray, pray, pray and work on your personal conversion, so that you may be a sign of God’s love to others. I'm with you and am leading you towards eternity, for which every heart must yearn. Thank you for having responded"
