    Manu Chehab started playing music by learning guitar, as a self-taught person, until he discovered the ud through Anouar Brahem’s music. First trained by ud master Samir Tahar, he continued learning ud with Ihab Radwan (udist in "Mozart l’Egyptien"), and then with Hamdi Makhlouf, a talented udist and composer from Tunisia, with who he deepened into his knowledge of the maqams, ornamentation and improvisation. In the same time, fond of strings instruments, he started learning saz baglama with Mahmut Demir, iranian tar and iranian kemanche with Athar Torabi. He worked a lot, and plays now all these instruments in concerts. Manu Chehab is the udist of Maa Julu. He first felt into Dub music with Dub Jihad, and then participated to the third Fedayi Pacha’s album, � From the oriental school of dub �, which has been considered as "best album 2010" in electronic music by the "Qwartz Awards 6". He plays now with him in concerts.
