Sorry for my absence these days. I've been sleeping a lot since my surgery and also writing much. I'm rewriting a play that I wrote five years ago--a play that I really like. Rewriting it is kind of addicting in fact. When completed I plan to enter it in the BBC's International Radio Play Competition. I've read many blogs over the past hour. I think that I'm pretty much caught up now. Wishing my friends a wonderful weekend. Hugs. M.A.

Mary Ann's words of wisdom for today: When trying to pull the wool over someone's eyes, make sure that the other person isn't smarter than you.

These are all collages of words and phrases that I have cut out of magazines and newspapers, put into collages, scanned and then tampered with.  This particular one posted at the same times as the rest.  When the new myspace came in, this one only came up as an error, so I reposted it today along with the plant and light photos.  See new Plant and Light album.

Volcanic action - click on pics for a full view

By death the moon was gathered in Long ago,
Yet still the silver corpse must spin
And with another's light must glow.
    Her frozen mountains must forget
    Their primal hot volcanic breath,
Doomed to revolve for ages yet,
    Void amphitheatres of death.
And all about the cosmic sky,
The black that lies beyond our blue,
    Dead stars innumerable lie,
And stars of red and angry hue
Not dead but doomed to die.

Digital Art. Hope you enjoy. Click on each pic.
Life has many ups and downs,
    Loving smiles and also frowns.
Good events and some are bad,
    Happy emotions, others mad.
It can be a bumpy ride,
How you handle it, you decide!
    Have a lovely week

Most people ask for happiness on condition. Happiness can only be felt if you don’t set any condition.
There is nothing more wonderful in the world than the feeling you get from sharing, and there is no greater happiness than the warmth you get from loving.
