Myth, Legend, Truth
Below is a photo of Neon Leon's Rainbow Express show at Max's Kansas City from 1975. Note the Neon Leon Sticker at the bottom. The photo is from Rix Fox archives. He played in the Martian Rock Band and borrowed Neon Leon's guitar at a gig at Max's Kansas City in 1975 where his band was warming up for Neon Leon. I have recently put up 2 photos of Rix Fox's band, where Rix is using Leon's guitar.
Anyway back to the Neon Leon's Rainbow Express. The Line up was Bobby Mack, Spider (RIP), Rocky Jones and Neon Leon. And Leon's guitar was the 59 Les Paul jr. He bought it from Johnny Thunders for 200 dollars, because he needed money. He had stolen it from Keith Richards from the Dolls 1st tour with Billy Mercia. Keith Richards stole it from Neon Leon at Trax. At an Industry Show at Trax. It was originally, Neon Leon believe, given to Keith Richards by Brian Jones. It had 2 Tumbling dices on it (decals). Neon Leon got a Gibson Explorer in exchange from Jane Rose and Earl McGraft to alleviate his pain. All well that ends well. Myth, Legend, fact, fiction, well that is how Neon Leon remember it. Ask James Karnbach.
And Peter Crowley had noticed that Neon Leon is ahead of the pack when it comes to footwear.

MUDKISS FANZINE - Interview
I have made a new photo album with a recent interview made by Teddie Dahlin for Mudkiss Fanzine and with photo by the famous Aigars Lapsa.
The other day I was asked by a new friend on MySpace, if I was THE NEON LEON from Max's Kansas City. If he read this, he will not doubt it any longer.
The rest of it is to be seen in the photo album Mudkiss Fanzine.
Regards
Leon
