Durant son adolescence, il écoute du dancehall jamaïcain et commence à s'intéresser à l'écriture. Il se met alors à chanter ses textes sur des instrumentales jamaïcaines et à participer aux sounds system organisés dans sa commune et dans toute la Guyane. .. .. En 1996, Il rencontre d'autres jeunes de la place et fait la connaissance de Dr MICKY & SKANDALIZE qui lui propose de former un groupe en vue du potentiel de chacun : le DAMANIAK. .. .. Désormais, il se produit avec DAMANIAK CREW et également en solo avec OSK PROD pour la sortie de ses propres produits. .. .. Pour ce qui est des productions, il y a eu le LOOK GOOD vol. 1 & 2 et son album éponyme SUGAR KAWAR avec lequel il a eu l'occasion de travailler avec JANICK MC, 6NOPSY, SWAÏLY, PROF.A, et certains membres du DAMANIAK. .. .. Sugar Kawar est aujourd'hui un artiste éclectique qui s'impose aussi bien sur du Ragga, du Reggae, du R'n'B que sur du Hip-Hop. .. ..
