About us

After many experiences in various bands of various universes, we decided in October 2009 to form the project "Over The Reason".

This project is mainly oriented at the "metalcore", "Old School" sounds are found. Loving, above all the music itself, we draw our inspiration from a wide range of artists from Killswitch Engage, Bullet for my Valentine, Trivium, The Haunted to Edguy.

We're working in a way to bring out a positive atmosphere mixed with a powerful, energetic and aerial music. With regard to our texts, we have chosen to illustrate them with two distinct voices, a deep voice that supports certain passages and a melodious voice which raises and affirms our universe.

Having a good scene experiences, we have decided for this project to isolate ourselves to compose, record and master our first EP, with Arnaud Simon ZBstudio and Colonel Nico studio Tandem before traveling concert halls.

For this EP, it is with great enthusiasm and pleasure that we welcome Maxime Pouille (singer form "Until The Last") on the song "Loosing Control" and Butcho Vukovic (singer from "WATCHA") on the title "World of Vanity.

The EP already out we are looking for gigs. Feel free to contact us if you have suggestions to make.

Aprés de nombreuses expériences dans diverses formations musicales d'univers variés, nous avons décidé en octobre 2009 de nous réunir pour mettre sur pied le projet "Over The Reason".

Dans ce projet principalement tourné vers le “metalcore“, des touches aux sonorités “Old school“ se font ressentir.
Aimant avant tout la musique en elle-même, nous puisons notre inspiration dans un large panel d’artistes allant de KillSwitch Engage, Bullet for my Valentine, Trivium jusqu’à Edguy voir The Haunted.

Nous travaillons a faire ressortir une atmosphère positive mêlée à une musique puissante, énergique et aérienne. En ce qui concerne nos textes nous avons choisi de les illustrer par 2 voix distinctes; une voix profonde qui appuie certains passages et une voix plus mélodieuse qui élève et affirme notre univers.

Ayant tous une bonne expérience de la scène, nous avons décidé pour ce projet de nous isoler pour composer, enregistrer et masteriser notre 1er EP, avec Arnaud Simon au ZBstudio et Colonel Nico au studio Tandem, avant de sillonner les salles de concerts.

Pour cet EP c'est avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme et de plaisir que nous accueillons Maxime Pouille (chanteur du groupe "Until The Last") sur le titre "Loosing Control" et Butcho Vukovic (Chanteur du groupe "WATCHA") sur le titre "World of Vanity".
