---- ---- president of guided missile corporation - www.guidedmissile.co.uk (record label / monthly clubnight), genius (see james harries), artist (see lauren harries), businessman (see ian beale). i host the ROUGH TRADE SHOPS POP QUIZ every Monday night at the Lexington, London N1, more than occasionally i can be found at the legendary Buffalo bar next to Highbury & Islington tube, where I also put on me fantastic gigs on the 2nd Saturday each month. a former tour manager for the trachtenburg family slideshow players, member of these bands.... 1000 X Yes, glam chops, wogan, frank sidebottom's oh blimey big band, the yummy fur, mortgage, iron mountain, the god-like genius of the beale, lego, the english travelling wilburys, cash machine, problem or proton?, alcopop idol, badminton, the seven stars, ricky spontane, the beatles (not the 60's one, just the same name), the beak, art naif, dream themes, paranoid dog bark and some new band eddie argos is forming called the dangerous emotions. i host the rough trade shops pop quiz at the lexington every monday and i compere at indieoke on the 1st friday of each month at buffalo bar. i try not to have loads of friends on this thing just for the sake of it so i may not always approve requests.. please don't take it personally.. most my friends on here actually are my friends. would love to accept any old stranger on our main page at www.myspace.com/guidedmissile though.. and feel free to spam the fuck out of that page with your gig flyers etc if i don't ok them for this one, i sometimes allow the odd bit of spam here from close pals. (also i'm not a big fan of the 'thanks for the add'). i like drunken karaoke at those places where you hire out your own room, i like girls who play instruments, i like johnny cash, i like 1960's glen campbell, the residents and devo.
