    ......GUITARE ET PRODUCTION........ Originaire du sud de la France, l'ancien guitariste/compositeur du groupe de Rock montpelliérain .."Les Idées".. (....2 albums, + de 600 concerts à travers l'Europe, le Canada et le Japon....) a ensuite travaillé avec la chanteuse américaine .. Billie Lee Hart..... Un album enregistré aux studios ICP de Bruxelles par le producteur ..Phil Délire ..(....Bashung, Renaud, Indochine, La Grande Sophie....) est venu ponctuer cette collaboration. .... Multipliant les rencontres, Philippe accompagne actuellement les chanteurs .. Saint Rémy.. (albums "Aubes sessions" 1, 2 et 3), .. SPOEB .. (projet "Existentiel"), ainsi que.. Bruno Granier, le cousin de Georges Brassens.., dans son groupe .."Les Amis de Brassens" (Olympia et Théâtre des 3 Baudets à Paris, Théâtre de la Mer à Sète, Berlin, Barcelone, Palma de Majorque, Ajaccio, Savone, ...) .......Au fil de ces collaborations très différentes, ..cet ancien élève du Conservatoire et de l'Ecole de Jazz de Montpellier.. s'est forgé un style personnel, essayant de développer de façon originale les possibilités que lui offrent ..la guitare.. (acoustique ou électrique), mais aussi ..la mandoline, le ukulele, le banjo, le sanza et la basse électrique....... GUITARE ET PRODUCTION

Originaire du sud de la France, l'ancien guitariste/compositeur du groupe de Rock montpelliérain "Les Idées" (2 albums, + de 600 concerts à travers l'Europe, le Canada et le Japon) a ensuite travaillé avec la chanteuse américaine Billie Lee Hart.
Un album enregistré aux studios ICP de Bruxelles par le producteur Phil Délire (Bashung, Renaud, Indochine, La Grande Sophie) est venu ponctuer cette collaboration.

Multipliant les rencontres, Philippe accompagne actuellement les chanteurs Saint Rémy (albums "Aubes sessions" 1, 2 et 3), Valentin SPOEB (projet "Existentiel"), ainsi que Bruno Granier, le cousin de Georges Brassens, dans son groupe "Les Amis de Brassens".

Au fil de ces collaborations très différentes, cet ancien élève du Conservatoire et de l'Ecole de Jazz de Montpellier s'est forgé un style personnel, essayant de développer de façon originale les possibilités que lui offrent la guitare (acoustique ou électrique), mais aussi la mandoline, le ukulele, le banjo, le sanza et la basse électrique.

Fort de sa polyvalence et de sa curiosité, ce "touche-à-tout" s'est par ailleurs lancé dans la production, réalisant les nouveaux albums des "Amis de Brassens", de "La Rouquiquinante", du duo "Accord", du "Mallen Project", du groupe "Cadillac Slim", ainsi que deux singles pour la chanteuse Laurilys.

Depuis peu, Philippe joue avec les groupes "SOUL ME BACK" (Rythm'n'Blues), "DJANGO DINGOS" (Jazz manouche), et le collectif du batteur anglais Neil CONTI (David BOWIE, Mick JAGGER, YOUSSOU'N'DOUR, ...).

"Guitar & Production”

Originally from the south of France, Philippe Lafon was formerly a guitarist and composer for the Montpellier Rock band "Les Idées" (recording 2 albums and giving more than 600 concerts throughout Europe, Canada and Japan).
He then worked with the American singer Billie Lee HART and they recorded an album together, which was produced in the ICP studios in Brussels, by the producer Phil Délire (producer for: Bashung, Renaud, Indochine, La Grande Sophie).

Philippe is currently working with the singer Saint Rémy (whose albums include: "the Aube sessions" 1, 2 and 3), SPOEB (the “Existentiel” project), and the singer/guitarist Bruno Granier (cousin of Georges Brassens) & his band "Les amis de Brassens".

Owing to these quite different collaborations, this graduate of the conservatorium and the School of Jazz of Montpellier has created a personal style, trying to find innovative ways of developing the sound possibilities offered by the guitar (electric and acoustic), the mandolin, the ukulele, the banjo, the sanza and the electric bass.

Thanks to his versatility and curiosity, this “jack-of-all-trades” has also branched out into production, working on new albums for "Les Amis de Brassens", "La Rouquiquinante", "Accord", "Mallen Project", "Cadillac Slim", and also two singles for the singer Laurilys.

At last, Philippe recently joigned the bands "SOUL ME BACK" (Rythm'n'Blues), "DJANGO DINGOS" (Gypsy style), and plays also with the english drummer Neil CONTI (David BOWIE, Mick JAGGER, YOUSSOU'N'DOUR, ...).
