Who's that?

Emptiness, fear, angst, loneliness, understanding... That's what he likes to explore. His photographs are a mix of darkness and romanticism...
His bottomless site PHOTOGRAPHIQUE is a tank for memories and feelings. it sands for an emotion generator, a thinking machine...

Born in Le Mans, France, he began working in photography at the end of the 80s. His main influences are the photographic work of Man Ray, Ralph Gibson, Magdi Senadji, Geoffrey James, Peter Saville, Anton Corbijn, Vaughan Oliver, Mondino. Other influences are the work of filmmakers like David Lynch, Jon Wozencroft, Lars Von Trier. Until the end of the 90s, He worked in film and accumulated a certain quantity of photos. Since 2002 he has worked exclusively in digital format. He created his website in 2002 and it has allowed him to become known and to work on collaborations with other sites, magazines and webzines like Sick Among the Pure (New York),Twice, literature reviews like La Femelle du Requin and DEUS EX MACHINA, publishers like Camakarma for the box Nachtvorstellung as well as bands such as And Also The Trees for their new album (Listen for) The Rag and Bone Man, Neon Cage Experiment for the album Material and Methods and Frédéric Truong for the visuals of his last album Vers le nouveau monde.

More recently, he worked with Xavier Plumas for his first solo album La Gueule du Cougouar (available in January 2009).

Commodore, his first photography book in association with the French writer Danielle Robert-Guédon, has been published in June 2008 by Swarm Records Editions.
