A sa création , P.H.T.O était une formation de black metal traditionnel, mais rapidement, à l’arrivée de Malkov et Molasar ,en 2009,les compositions se sont faites plus précises et plus typées ..la recherche de sensations intimistes et oniriques, est devenue le fil conducteur et la philosophie de la formation.

Ceci s’est accentué avec la venue d’Alrinack, en2010, et celle de Bartuk en 2012, en effet, PHTO, aujourd’hui , se révèle être une osmose humaine et musicale, de musiciens se connaissant depuis des années ,mais ayant joué dans divers horizons musicaux au préalable…

Cette entité particulière transcende les aspirations à « percevoir les horribles tristesses obscures » de l’âme…
