    RedChurch Recording and Rehearsal Studio is located in Hackney, East London. .. The studio was opened in September, 1983 by Fred Baggs, as a small four track facility in Redchurch Street Shoreditch. In Decemeber 1988, we opened our current studio in Hackney. Our last update was completed two years ago, when we added Digital Hard Disc recording capabilities to our extensive analogue equipment list. .. Fred still engineers, produces and mixes, although should you want to bring in your own engineer/producer you are most welcome. .. We have, over the years, recorded almost every type of music imaginable, from guitar bands to Jewish wedding music. These genres include Punk, Girl Power, Jazz, Funk, Asian Dub, Reggae, Piano, Piano playing singers, Poetry, Audio Books, World Music, large rock bands and small orchestras. .. Our extensive client list includes: Afro Celt Sound System, Robert Plant, Peter Gabriel's Real World Music, Drugstore, Benjamin Zephaniah, Huggy Bear, Ben D'Arville [Crash Test Dummies], The Apostles, and many more. .. The studio features three soundproofed areas. The engineering/mixing room is 300 Square Feet and the first Live Room is 600 Square Feet, while the second Live Room is 200 Square Feet. ..
