After 6 months or more recording, spread out over the last 14 months, I've almost reached the end! 15 tracks to mix, that's already a huge amount of guitars and then there's the guest singers, orchestra... More to follow :-)
We're now settling into the guitar sessions here at Black Horses. So far we're using an average of 3 or 4 different amps per song and various guitars, mainly hollow bodied this time round. We're getting a much wider palette of colours than we had on Life is Elsewhere, the diversity of sounds is pushing the album forward from where we left off with the last. I'm looking forward to bringing in some friends to play on a couple of tracks, starting with Mr Matlabasse himself and his amazing 12 string bass! I've got the 1st and the last tracks almost finished, there's a still a lot to work on but we're well and truly on our way ;)
