REEDITION DE MON LIVRE !
Hey Ya !
Peut-être que certains d'entre vous étaient au courant qu'en janvier 2008 j'ai sorti un livre : "Looking For Gangstaz" aux éditions Scali.
Les backstages officielles de mon documentaire vidéo sur le Gangsta Rap, où je raconte le tout du pourquoi au comment sur les dessous de mon film.
Malheureusement, huit mois après son installation dans les stores en France, tous les livres Scali ont été retiré du marché, et les éditions ont mit la clé sous la porte...
Mais aujourd'hui, je peux vous annoncer officiellement la REEDITION de mon livre par les éditions Camion Blanc.
La sortie est prévu pour Mars 2010, et c'est une très bonne nouvelle. !!!! -

REALITY

An artist is somehow, somewhere inside him/her a human after all. Yes, I know, this is not easy for me to face it either, but WE ARE NOT SUPERHEROS
An artist needs to feed himself, his family (in case he's crazy enough to have created his own), an artist needs to pay his rent, to pay his phone (yeah yeah I swear phone ain't free even for us), we also got to pay the fucking tax due to the governement (and here again they will drain us til our last drop of cents) .... ...
Humm You should ask you "Why does she have to tell this awfull reality, and break my imaginary dreams about my living or dead legends ?? ... Why is she so mean ??"
Yes WHY ???

And I'm OVER all the
---> "Looking for an actress for a movie ... But it's for free" ...
---> " Looking writer for free"
---> "Looking blablabla for project blablabla where you will have to WORK FOR FREE til we make money" .... blablabla ....
---> "I want to work with you but I can't pay you for the moment" ...
---> "I want you in my crew, but it's non pay"
---> "Can you be my model .. Of course I can't pay you ?
---> "Can you jump froom the bridge all naked by zero degre outside and I'll give you a hug"
WE HAVE TO PAY THE BILLS

Fuck all this adds where you have to work your ass off for nothing... And yeah, the worse, is when after all the project is ok, the crew seems cool, and you wanna work, so you say "Ok, ... for free ... Ok .... " And then, sometimes you see the project rock the world, you see the boss of the project earns many money on it, and keep everything for him, cause obviously he will forget that he was surrounding by an whole crew /.. But yeah that's another story, maybe another note in the future....
I'm already enough upset right now ... I don't wanna add anything more angst.
