In keeping with the carnival atmosphere, the highlight of the show was the inclusion of two aerialists, “The Slavic Sisters”, who performed an Aerial Silks routine suspended over the the main floor crowd during the song, “C'est ce la”, a manic, rocked-up, Slavic-style polka. Aerial silks are two long pieces of fabric on which the performers climb, wrap themselves in and around, while performing a series of acrobatic poses, dance moves, and gasp inspiring drops and twists. by ~ Frick!
