I am an African American writer and poet. My writings grace the pages of over 100 publications both print and online. I write scholarly articles, science fiction, horror, flash fiction, scifaiku, haiku, and haibun. I am also a math tutor, specializing in statistics.

I was born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio. I have taught ABE, GED Prep, and high school completion Math in Detroit and Ypsilanti, Michigan. I've taught adult education classes in Toledo and Sandusky. I had a short stint as a high school math teacher at Ann Arbor Pioneer, and was a substitute teacher in Pittsburgh and Ann Arbor.
