    Sa musique rythmée, colorée et métissée nous transporte à travers le monde. C'est un mélange subtil et «détonant» qui flatte notre oreille et donne naissance à un son unique et nouveau. Ses chants, sa poésie venant délicatement s'y poser pour nous parler d'évasion, de paix, de tolérance et de spiritualité. --- Originaire de Bordeaux, SONGOÉ est un musicien «world» multi-instrumentiste au parcours atypique --- C'est à l'âge de 10 ans qu'il commence la musique avec le tambour à la batterie fanfare. Puis à 11 ans, il rentre au conservatoire pour y apprendre la trompette. A 17 ans, il se met à la guitare électrique et au chant. Deux ans plus tard il monte son premier groupe de rock «CASSIOPÉ». C'est dans un local de répétition qu'il fait la rencontre du groupe africain «N'GONDÉLÉ» (afro beat) il ressort la trompette du placard et se lance avec eux dans une tournée qui l'emmène à faire le tour de France : «PRINTEMPS DE BOURGES '87», «FESTIVAL DE JAZZ INTERNATIONAL DE NANCY PULSATION '86», «FESTIVAL DE CAUSAC '86, '87, '88», il partage la scène avec MANU DIBANGO, MORY KANTÉ, PAUL PERSONNE, KID CRÉOLE AND THE COCONUTS, PIERRE VASSILIU, CHEB KHALED... Plus tard, une tournée en Algérie avec le groupe de raï «TASSILI», une tournée en France avec «NIOMINKABI» (reggae) et d'autres nombreux groupes. Tour à tour trompettiste, guitariste, percussionniste, choriste et chanteur. Puis il se pose pour développer ses compositions et trouve son propre son, où viennent se mêler des parfums musicaux issus de son parcours métissé (rock, raï, maloya, reggae, afro, blues du Sahel, amérindien, oriental...) Il crée son groupe «SKANCÉGA»... Mais sa musique demande aux musiciens, pour être bien jouée, la maîtrise simultanée de cultures musicales spécifiques auxquelles il est rare d'avoir eu accès. Déçu il quitte la scène «rock» pour la pédagogie (écoles de musique), les spectacles pour enfants «COMPAGNIE ROBINSON» et «COMPAGNIE MIKADO» et crée et joue sa musique sur scène pour des spectacles de théâtre «FESTIVAL DE BLAYE» avec «GUY LENOIR» et spectacles de danse contemporaine «NORBERT SÉNOU». Il continue à composer tout en développant son aptitude à la M.A.O (musique assistée par ordinateur). SONGOÉ a aussi fait deux albums dans le style relaxation / musique du monde : «LE TEMPLE ET LA LUNE» chez WAGRAM et «SANDHA CHEMIN DE PAIX» chez HARMONY MUSIC et participe à de nombreuses compilations chez EMI, WARNER, ORIGINS... Aujourd'hui il revient sur la scène rock-world dans une formule one-man-show, avec ses guitares, ses flûtes, sa voix et son ordinateur pour vous présenter ses compositions, ses chansons et ses textes originaux. Il vous propose un concert entièrement géré par ordinateur, pour un show inédit. --- «Toutes les musiques d'accompagnement que je pilote via mes pédaliers MIDI, sont jouées par moi-même en studio. Je les ai simplement rendues exploitables pour la scène live et ce, pour votre plus grand plaisir!» --- SONGOÉ affectionne particulièrement les petites scènes ou salles où il aime à se retrouver proche de son public -------------------------------------------------------------------- His rythmic music, coloured and mixed, transports us around the World. It's a substil and «explosive» mix, which flatters our ear and give birth to a new and unique sound. His songs, his poesy gently come on us, and talk about freedom, peace, tolerance and spirituality. --- Coming from Bordeaux, SONGOÉ is a «world» multi-instrumentist musician, with a uncommon career --- At 10, he began to play music with a drum in a band. Then at 11, he entered at the conservatory to learn trumpet. At 17, he learned the electric guitar and singing. Two years after, he created his first rock group «CASSIOPÉ». In a rehearsal room, he met the African group «N'GONDÉLÉ» (afro beat), so he take his trumpet from the locker and began with them a tour around France : «PRINTEMPS DE BOURGES '87», «FESTIVAL DE JAZZ INTERNATIONAL DE NANCY PULSATION '86», «FESTIVAL DE CAUSAC '86, '87, '88», he shared the stage with MANU DIBANGO, MORY KANTÉ, PAUL PERSONNE, KID CRÉOLE AND THE COCONUTS, PIERRE VASSILIU, CHEB KHALED... Later, a tour in Algeria with the rai band «TASSILI», a tour in France with «NIOMINKABI» (reggae) and several other bands. Alternately trumpeter, guitarist, percussionist, vocalist and singer. Then he stayed in the same place, to develop his compositions and found his own sound, where are mixed several musical perfumes discovered all long his atypical career (rock, rai, maloya, reggae, afro, blues of the Sahel, amerindian, oriental...). He created his own group «SKANCÉGA»... But his music, to be right played, needs from his musicians, to know specific musical cultures which aren't common to access. Disappointed, he left the «rock» stage for the pedagogy (music schools), children shows «COMPAGNIE ROBINSON» and «COMPAGNIE MIKADO», and he created and played his music on stage for the stage shows «FESTIVAL DE BLAYE» with «GUY LENOIR» and modern dance shows «NORBERT SÉNOU». He continued to compose while developing his aptitudes to computer music. SONGOÉ has also made two relaxing/ World music albums: «LE TEMPLE ET LA LUNE» (The Temple and the Moon) published by WAGRAM, and «SANDHA CHEMIN DE PAIX» (Sandha, the path of peace) published by HARMONY MUSIC, and collaborates to several compilations published by EMI, WARNER, ORIGINS... Today, he comes back on the rock-world stage with a one-man-show formula, with his guitars, his flutes, his voice and his computer to present you his compositions, his songs and his original lyrics. He proposes you a concert fully managed by computer, for a new show. --- «All the accompaniment musics managed by my MIDI pedals, are recorded by myself in my studio. I simply made them usuable on live stage, for your greatest pleasure!» --- SONGOÉ prefers small stages where he can be close to his public. ............
