    Sonic Tapestry are a four piece progressive rock / classic rock band formed in 2009. The band consists of Steve " fozz" Forster-Bass Guitar and Lead Vocals (Former bands- God Kills America, mausoleum and Broadchurch) Paul "Rozz" Rotherham- Lead Guitar (Former band- God Kills America, mausoleum) Giles "vim fuego" Ashley- Lead guitar (Former bands, Ready 'n' Willing) John "Spider" Byrne- Drums and Vocals (Former bands, Ready 'n' willing, Storm, Purple Snake) Although hailing from different musical backgrounds each member has a love of Progressive rock music, ranging from early Yes, Nektar,Jethro tull,Genesis, Camel,caravan,deep purple, Uriah heep e.l.p to later bands such as Riverside, Porcupine Tree, Tool,opeth,Umphreys McGee etc. The Band write their own music, but also play classic rock at gigs by artists including; Uriah Heap, The Cult, Motorhead, Scorpions, Thin Lizzy, Alice in Chains, Metallica,Hawkwind,satriani,Judas priest,Lynyrd skynyrd, etc. With one or two of there own songs thrown in for good measure.
