'That Legendary Wooden Lion' and Hot Maegus 'back in the Old Clubhouse'...Friday May 6th

Hi Music Lovers...

The Classic Rock Club will meeting on Friday May 6^th because the Royal Wedding weekend has clashed with our usual last Friday of the month...

I have the great pleasure to welcome back to the Club the very talented, Old School outfit 'That Legendary Wooden Lion' ....Most of you have seen The Lion' perform at The CRC before so you can expect a Great evening of Progtastic Old School Classic Rock...The Lion have also recently brought out a new Album, which they are currently touring and will be offering to members at a discount !

For this Gig we will be back in the 'Old Clubhouse' which has a wide stage area for 'The Lion' who need more space for their set and costume changes etc..

The Lion will be supported by Power Trio 'Hot Maegus' featuring the talented singer /songwriter and Maestro Guitarist Jonnie Rice...Music lovers can expect an Evening of Soaring Guitars and fuzz drenched psychedelia

Doors open 7:30pm...Adm £3....Hot Maegus onstage at 9pm sharp...The Legendary Wooden Lion onstage approx 10pm... 'In the Old Clubhouse'

At Last the New Clubhouse is ready at the Cheshunt Football Ground  HQ...

Just next door to the Old Clubhouse in Car park (50 yards to your right) The New club is now ready to use. The New Clubhouse is slightly Bigger and has a nice feel about it...

The New club will be open for The Classic Rock Club on Friday 25^th March  ...The First Gig in the new premises, promises to be an Exciting night for Music Lovers, featuring 'The Green Ray' (former members of Rock Legends 'Help yourself' & 'Man') often described as The English Grateful Dead, This talented group of Old School Muso's are Back at The Classic Rock Club after last appearing 3 years ago !

Supporting The Green Ray is The Guitar Maestro Jon Simms & his 'SuperJam'...Former Singer Songwriter and Master Axeman with Legendary 70's Progressive Rock Outfit, 'Clear Blue Sky'...Jon and his Power Trio were famously the youngest Band ever to be signed to the Legendary ‘Vertigo Label’ back in 1971
