About me:

I am a writer, poet, performer,a father, a friend and a man who strives to improve myself in every way. The road's been long and hard. The lessons learned from my numerous mistakes has allowed me to rise above adversity often enough to find myself in an amazing, incredibly fulfilling and peaceful place in my life. I spent ten years counseling people and the last six years attempting to convince the courts to grant inmates, whose crimes are addiction driven, a treatment alternative to incarceration. Once my counseling career had ended I decided that through writing, I could continue to touch people's lives but in a different way. I did so initially by writing newspaper and news letter articles. About three years ago I was drawn to poetry and I haven't stopped since. I have recited, sung and performed my poetry on numerous occasions @Touchstone Theater in Bethlehem, PA., Lehigh University,Panoramic Poetry (A venue produced jointly by October Galleries & Chaney University in Philadelphia and The International African American Art Expo@ Temple University. WHAT"S NEXT? By the end of June I will have performed in at least one or possibly two of the top poetry venues in Manhattan! (: br />
