Formed in 2006 Melbourne, Australia by Valak (vocals, guitars & sequences) and Ishtar (synths & sequences), VOLKMAR has evolved into a dark industrial rock project. The music is dedicated to the ‘7 deadly sins’ exclusively.

VOLKMAR has performed in festivals and shows around the globe (including Wave Gotik Treffen in June 2009), released 2 full length albums –‘Blessed Sins’ and ‘Wrath of Centuries’ as well as 4 video clips.

Currently material for the 3rd upcoming album is being recorded. The artwork is in-progress by the one and only Joachim Luetke. Blessed are the sinners…

Our mission is to manifest the Seven Deadly Sins through music & verse.
