 * * *WEYAH is a modern artist from the crossroad of two continents with historical background. Born in the Tropics and opened out in the Parisian culture, the singer naturally continues the way traced by her father, MICHEL KINGUE, dynamic composer-songwriter of years 50-70, in West Africa (Cameroon).  * * *Supported by her mother, a gospel choir singer, encouraged by the warm welcome of the public, WEYAH thus confirms her taste for the scene by multiplying concerts with various musical formations, before assembling her duet piano-bar with the pianist Patrick Davoise, during 5 years. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *  * * *WEYAH spend a few years at the music academy, in the singing class of Dominique Moati (soprano), and finally with Catherine Médioni (voice and song specialist) who gave her a very interesting approach of the lyric art.  * * * BELE MBA WEYAH is extracted from the album which she is currently preparing, and of which WEYAH shares the writing process with musician DOY'N. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * You may ask, is WEYAH a world, afro, jazz, or pop singer? “I am unaware if it is absolutely necessary to be classified in a musical genre, my pieces reflect the inevitable mixed culture from which I come; I am also attracted by singing a classical song. DOY’N est un musicien suffisamment créatif pour faire co-exister des influences diverses dans certaines de nos compositions.
