One of my favorite films of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival is Safety Not Guaranteed, a charming and funny drama with a great premise and even better characters. Based on a true story, the movie follows a trio of journalists (one being Aubrey Plaza from Parks and Recreation) as they investigate a Craigslist ad from a man (Mark Duplass) searching for a partner to travel through time with. Naturally they think he’s crazy at first, but as Aubrey Plaza’s character gets closer to him to get more details on the story, things become a bit more complicated than they seem on the surface.

Thanks to Moviefone, we’ve got the a brand new clip for you, and it gives a pretty good idea of the kind of banter you can expect from Duplass and Plaza throughout the movie. Check it out below, and the full film hits theaters on June 8th, 2012.

Synopsis: From the producers of Little Miss Sunshine – When an unusual classified ad inspires three cynical Seattle magazine employees to look for the story behind it, they discover a mysterious eccentric named Kenneth, a likable but paranoid supermarket clerk, who believes hes solved the riddle of time travel and intends to depart again soon. Together, they embark on a hilarious, smart, and unexpectedly heartfelt journey that reveals how far believing can take you.
