What a week it’s been for Lindsay Lohan. After crashing her Porsche into an 18 wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway last Friday, it turned out she possibly lied to police about who was driving the car. But hey, at least she got a part in the upcoming noir film, “The Canyons,” right? Well today was another down day for the actress. Reports circulated that she had been taken to the hospital after being found unconscious in her hotel room. That wasn’t quite the case. Here’s what really went down.
Paramedics were, in fact, called to Lohan’s penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton, but they left the hotel without Lindsay Lohan in tow. According to her reps, the actress had just finished two days of non-stop shooting for the upcoming Lifetime movie, “Liz and Dick,” and had returned to the hotel around 6:00 a.m. She was suffering from “exhaustion” and “dehydration” and was apparently taking a nap.

She had called someone from the production team earlier in the day and they had a private doctor sent over to check on Lohan. But later, when she didn’t come out to resume shooting the final scene, the production team sent someone from the hospital to her door. When she didn’t come to the door, they made the decision to call 911 and told them she was “unresponsive.”

So, Lohan is presumably back on the set after treatment and all’s well that ends well, right? But really … what’s a girl gotta do to get a nap in every once in a while?
