TMZ reports that A$AP Rocky was arrested and detained last night in Manhattan, although the details of the incident remain unclear. According to the gossip site, the rapper and a friend beat up two people taking photographs of them.

Rocky and the friend were reportedly arguing on the street when two onlookers began snapping pictures of them. The rapper and friend apparently turned their anger on the amateur photographers and, as TMZ puts it, “a full-fledged fight erupted.” The two onlookers suffered cuts and bruises during the brawl and one was hospitalized.

A$AP Rocky was arrested and, according to TMZ, is going to be booked for armed robbery, which means either all these details are incorrect or the NYPD is confused.
