We’ve all been waiting patiently for this moment ever since the end of The Avengers. Finally, the day has come, and it is everything we expected. It is exciting. It is explosive. It is carnage. It is the first Iron Man 3 trailer, and it leaves us wanting more. You seriously do not want to miss this.

With all due respect to Ms. Johansson, Mr. Hemsworth and co., the star of The Avengers was undoubtedly Robert Downey Jr., because he’s Robert Downey Jr. After leading the tag team effort to save the world, Downey Jr. will be flying solo again for Iron Man 3, and tomorrow we’ll be treated to the first full trailer. I’ll be a hipster for a second and let you all know that I saw a rough cut of the trailer months ago at Comic-Con, and it’s pretty epic. As is customary these days, a trailer for the trailer has been released, and several new pictures have popped up as well. While there’s only so much you can learn from 17 seconds, we gather three things: 1. Ben Kingsley will be playing The Mandarin, as it had long been rumored 2. there will be lots of awesome Iron Man suits, including the most Ummmerican one we’ve ever seen 3. something bad is going to happen to Pepper Potts (Gwenyth Paltrow), as we see her struggling in some sort of torture device.
