Bio:

BWK aka DJ Brainkiller design & foundation labels ZYKLON B and HCN.

It began approximately in the late '70s and the '80s when I started to be aware that there were images on TV and music on the radio. Yes, I wasn’t born long time before!
At this stage of my life, I listened to everything and anything going from one extreme to another (already) from Mozart to The Sex Pistols, Johnny Hallyday also ;-) and still a preference for Jean Michel Jarre! It wasn’t until 1988 that I tried to mix unsuccessfully.
That doesn't sound like I want!

In 1990, that was my first big slap, I discovered with a few months' delay the Maxximum radio that I listened til the last minute on January 6, 1992.
Finally the sound that I like with a very different and decried spirit at the time.
Time where Pop and Rock were the masters, when people who listened to the Techno were considered as fanatics, when the Techno wasn't a music but a noise! I love that!!!

1992 was also a great year for me. On the occasion of the music fest on June 21, I met some members of two recent associations : KAO-TEKnik and Rave Concept : those which organized the firsts Rave Parties in the region the following months. These associations also launched the concept of Free Parties in France with the group "Spiral Tribe" for the first one!
In this period, have followed many Rave Parties, official evenings, discovery of the first "Teknival”, local broadcasting and my growing interest in the production of music! I built my own electronic culture and refined my tastes increasingly hard : First hearing of Euromasters "Alles Naar Klte" on Rotterdam Records. I also met a lot of friends and discovered the first Dutch compilation "Thunderdome" with The Prophet, Dano and others.
At the same time, I met DJ TRASS on a concurrent Radio. We founded The Gabberfreaks : 3 DJ’s (Thyristor + Trass & myself) which tried, with difficulty, to impose a music Gabber/Hardcore during local events. We also animated a topic once a week and a broadcast once a month from 1993 to 1996.
This period sees me gradually abandon the Gabber House and begin composition.
That sounds too "dance floor", I can do better, I said to myself!

Starting from 1996, the year of the creation of the label Spacecraft, I harassed his staff to create a Hardcore sub-division which came with the label ZYKLON B.
Name voluntarily chosen by pure and real provocation for the paradox between what it was supposed to represent and the real anti-fascist mentality of the group. Indeed the macaroons represents the ruins of Berlin and a Soviet tank entering these ruins! The signs of the annihilation of Nazism! I understand it would have been difficult to analyze that at first, but it would have been too simple if there had no provoc '! Punk Attitude.
In total, two Zyklon B were distributed: + -00 by Undertakers (aka Trass, Thyristor, Mars-Hell de Neurasthénie and Brainkiller) and -01 by BWK. The ZK B -02 and -03 exist in the form of test pressing to 10 copies each by decision of the Spacecraft’s producer.

Brutally stopped and bullied by this decision, we have choosen to produce us by ourselves and to create the label HCN, which has been distributed through the structure Houz-Motik held by Mars-Hell de Neurasthénie.
Cytochome C has shared with me that HCN 0 named Yperite. Producted in late 1997 early 1998.
In this period that goes up to 1999, I met so many exeptional people that I can not mention all (among other; Michel Comte, Krânh, K-Davr, Lwik and his friends, La Peste…) and the evenings "Octobre Rouge" and "Industrie de la Viande" leaves me excellent memories!

“1999 Year of the World's Damnation” means the end of my work and certainly my own damnation until now!

2008: Under the strong influence of Convectorh and dj 0000 (aka K-Davre & Krânh) encountered many years ago and which produce an excellent music now in my opinion, the label will probably reborn from its ashes with HardCoreNoyzkorh productions… see next…

Meanwhile, huge thanks to all those who support ZK B and HCN since all these years and big, big respects to all the DJ, composers and labels that make up the current scene and which I discover the productions gradually. My ears destroyed by pleasure!
