CARMYN is a French singer, pianist, guitar player and songwriter of Greek & Egyptian ancestry, who was born and raised in Paris France. She makes her debut on the stage at an early age with theater and opera. An all-time rock and hard-rock fan, she starts writing songs and playing in various rock bands, giving live performances in both Greece and France. .... In Athens Greece, she has the occasion to perfect her soul/blues approach of music by attending American singer & teacher Julie Massino's famous school of dance & music. Meanwhile she's given the opportunity to lead her first music shows: in her live performances, she covers US classic rock songs but also Greek traditional music, all blended in her own artistic language and personal style. She's also given the chance to make her first TV appearances in live programs and interviews. Enriched by these various experiences and travels, she starts collecting her thoughts and putting her words into music: she starts writing songs on her own, to depict the stream of feelings and her individuality. Back to Paris, she takes on the recording of very personal songs, in English exclusively (her mother tongue), at the "So You Studios" in Paris. She's presently giving live shows in Greece and in France, and working on new songs to feature on her first record for 2010. -

Ca y est la nouvelle est officielle : mes rockeurs & moi avons été sélectionnés pour la Finale du Fallenfest qui se tiendra le Dimanche 1er Juillet prochain à la Cigale !!!!!!!
De tout coeur, encore un grand merci à tous nos amis présents vendredi dernier, vos encouragements ont fini par payer.
