Depuis ses débuts en 1998, la voix nonchalante de Framix nous promène sur une musique exotique et imagée. Hier inspirées d’une base jamaïcaine teintée d’électronique, ses productions révèlent aujourd’hui un ton nouveau qui évoque avec fraicheur les 50's et les 60's.

Constamment en recherche, le multi instrumentiste compose sa musique en solo, se plaisant à flirter avec les styles, à sauter d'époque en époque, toujours en quête d'inventivité. Il se construit un univers peuplé d'allégories, souligné par des textes dévoilant un ton parfois très poétique.

Issu de l’école des Beaux-Arts, l’artiste nantais reste très attaché à l’image. Il souligne son univers sonore par un travail filmique toujours renouvelé. Ses clips et son récent court métrage participent à dessiner d'un trait bien personnel, le monde qu'il fabrique.

Révélé par Radio Nova et France Inter en 2010, son projet artistique fédérateur est diffusé sur les ondes de plus de 40 pays dans le monde.

Cette année Framix lève lentement le rideau sur son nouvel univers. Le mystique "the Big Falls" est le premier d'une série de singles, annonçant le nouvel album à découvrir à l'automne 2012.

Framix sur scène accompagné de ses 3 musiciens débuteront leur tournée cet automne, annonçant ainsi le tout nouvel opus.

Since its beginnings in 1998, the nonchalant voice of Framix takes us on a walk through an exotic and colorful musical universe.  Originally inspired from a basis of jamaïcain tinged electronic music, its productions reveal now a new tone that evokes the freshness of the 50' s and the 60's. 

Constantly searching, the multi instrumentalist composes his music solo, pleasing himself to flirt with styles, to jump era to era, always an inventiveness quest.  He constructs himself a populated universe of allegories, underlined by texts unveiling a very poetic tone. 

Coming from the school of fine arts in Nantes, France, the artist remains very attached to the artistic scene.  It underlines the soundscape of his universe, film like always being replayed.  His pop videos and certainly his recent one, invites the viewer to participate and to draw from his well of personal traits, and be refreshed by the world that it makes. 

Descovered by Radio Nova and France Inter in 2010, his federal artistic project has been broadcasted on the waves of more than 40 countries in the world.

This year Framix raised slowly the curtain to his new universe.  The mystical song "The Big Falls" is the first of a series of singles, announcing the new album for us to discover in 2012.

Sous sa signature ou celle de Kazamix, les sonorités dub, éxotiques et inclassables de Framix ont fait le tour du globe. Aujourd'hui diffusé sur les radios de 40 pays dans le monde, le projet a été d'abord mis en avant par Radio Nova puis France Inter en 2010. .... Sorti de l' école des beaux-arts, l'artiste nantais n'en a pas moins oublié son attrait pour l'image. Entouré d'une mini équipe de cinéma il réalise sur 2009-2010 un somptueux court-métrage et un clip déjanté depuis largement diffusé sur le web et le petit écran. .... Toujours zigzagant avec panache entre les styles et les époques, le bricoleur jamaicano - texano - hawaiien nous livre son deuxième opus : "Happy Animals". Un voyage entre électronique et acoustique, plus chantant qu' auparavant qui ironise sur notre condition humaine en regard de notre condition animale. .... Framix à présent sorti de la solitude de son studio, grimpe sur scène et forme, entouré de ses 4 adjoints: " Framix & Friends ". Un live hybride qui revisite et élargi le projet du disque, où atmosphère dub et rythme électro se mêlent savamment aux guitares country et hawaiiennes. .... En 2009 le groupe se produit aux "Transmusicales" de Rennes puis aux Nuits Zebrées de radio Nova et en direct sur les ondes de Radio France en 2010. .. .. .. LES TEXTES ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ .. .. L' album traite de manière générale de notre condition humaine en regard de notre condition animale. .. Le titre "Happy Animals" ironise sur le tableau du jardin d' Eden avant qu' Eve ne croque la pomme et que nous cessions alors d' être des "Happy Animals"..! .. Si "Jumpy" a plutôt une consonance sociale et "Elefant Scratch" porte un regard naïf sur la chaîne alimentaire, d'autres titres comme "The Mistake" et "Winter Song" sont simplement des "love songs". .. Still zigzaging with class around styles and times, the Jamaican-texan-hawaian handyman delivered a new opus on the 30th march 2009, offering once again a travel between electronic and acoustic territories. .. Under this name or the KAZAMIX signature, his exotic dub sounds have travelled around the world. .. They appeared on compilations (wagram 2004-2005), were distributed and broadcasted overseas (Broklyns Beat/New York), Dublab radio (Los Angeles). And were mixed and pressed by renowned dj's (Dj Rupture). .. .. Now, FRAMIX is coming out of his home studio, leaving loneliness to go up on stage. .. .. Joined by his deputies, they are now "Framix & Friends". A band where dub moods and electro beats are mixing with country and hawaian guitars. .. This hybrid live performance is revisiting and enlarging the album project, surrounded by images and clips from an abounding visual world.
