IN ARKADIA

Since its creation in 2005, In Arkadia's music kept on evolving towards a thrash/melodic death metal style, with its powerful razor-sharp rhythmical parts, along with great melodies. The musical chemistry of In Arkadia has been rewarded as being "the best French band of its kind" (cf. Metallian March 2007).
  After the release of their first album “Release the Shadow” in 2005 and more than 30.000 downloads of their first music video "Delirium Tremens", In Arkadia began to write the music for their second album: “Blind Oppression” released in 2007 along with a second music video: “Dystopia” from FK production.
Thanks to this second album, In Arkadia managed to sign a deal with the French label Another Sphere Records and started to play several gigs, including some with prestigious bands like Torture Squad, Dew Scented, Severe Torture, Benighted, Kronos, Destinity.
The recording of their third album "Wasteland Chronicles" took place during November 2009 at the Eikey Studio in Hamburg and was released in 2010. Thanks to this third album, way more brutal than the previous ones, the band managed to sign a deal with the German record company Twilight Vertrieb, and tour with the german band Dark Age, including a gig with Dagoba. Significant line-up changes in the beginning of 2011 open new possibilities to the band who decides to move on to a much more brutal and efficient melodic Death Metal style along with a more modern visual identity.
