Du's De Novo Sonnet is longer & more complex -

The Escapists' Victual

Ambivalent work schedule, perspective unrest
Send troubles double on an upload in reprise
Surmise then the saintly hearth harpest chord invest
Westerly jewels rest on platters improvised.

Those love notes sealed with the waxy kiss, ritzy miss
Mistake bundle left to the prying eyes, mutual
Ritual implicated, deploy on circus wisp,
For my eyes disguise miss your everything, scornful!

Springing tides in a wistful escape to plectrum
And the demolition of an ancient hall by
The seaside served as the vibrant chamber to strum
The sweetest chord serenading miss - beauty vice.

Escalating my desire to compose victual
Of a feast for the eyes among misty travail!
In songs of adoration, moon might ellipse so
Along the seashore of correspondent prevail!

Those tender words lapping screen, caressing farewell
Redeeming crush miss in a narrative carrel.
