Celui-ci est issu de la réunion de plusieurs activiste de la scène musicale Béarnaise tels que Stormblast, Les Destropouillave, LTFC, Minoserbes.. qui ont partagés des scènes aux côtés de groupes comme GOJIRA, DAGOBA, MANIGANCE, SYBREED, NO RETURN, ETHS, KILLERS, ADAGIO, LOFOFORA.. Jusqu'à présent nous avons effectué une cinquantaine de concerts de Bordeaux à Toulouse en passant par Bayonne... le tout sur des programmations riches et variées (Ecole de Musique actuelle , Fêtes de village, Pères Noël est un biker, Tremplins, Festivals, reprise de ABBA..)et donc devant unpublic très éclectique qui nous a toujours bien accueillis ! Parmis tous ces concerts, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir été sélectionné pour le Tremplin MeMyspace&Myband, et avons également joué avec DESTINITY, HACRIDE, DWAIL, OTARGOS, SVART CROWN, SCAR ON MURMANSK, et plus récemment WEAKSAW et MINUSHUMAN. English : Fall 2005, Sol Niger took shape thanks to the meeting of two hairy metalheads from Orthez, Chris behind drums, Rémi on guitar (ex Stormblast, Destropouillaves, current guitarist of NoSerBes) and François (ex LTFC) a not so common less hairy dude from Biarritz also on guitar. A common will to release their fury leads the noisy trio to write songs mixing thrash and death metal inspired by both old-school standards and new-school state of the art. Soon, the band recruits his bass player Sylvain (ex Meltem, LTFC, HumanCell, Stormblast), and finalizes the line-up with a good growler Steph (ex Scission, Akoufen). The band play with DESTINITY, HACRIDE, DWAIL, OTARGOS, SVART CROWN, SCAR ON MURMANSK, and nearly with WEAKSAW et MINUSHUMAN.

SOL NIGER est un groupe de Metal originaire de la région Paloise, formé en 2005.
