..The Unknown Project.. vit le jour début 2006, aux alentours de Perpignan. Formés d'abord dans le but d'enregistrer un disque qui rendrait hommage aux "bandes originales de films bis des années 60/70" et au Giallo en particulier, le combo multiforme s'aventurera à roder et présenter son travail sur scène. De l'énergie du live, le groupe en trouvera une identité à la fois musicale et visuelle, intégrant des décors, jouant avec des masques pour mieux entretenir le mystère. L'hommage devient alors un point de départ pour la création de leur propre musique. Après quatre années de travail, The Unknown Project sort enfin de l'ombre avec son premier E.P. 4 titres (et en 45 tours pour les amateurs de vinyle), intitulé "The Young Lady". Une histoire d'amour sordide fidèle à leur ambiance cinématographique, enregistrée avec soin par Pierre Le Berrigaud (Studio Le Barabul) et chantée (le groupe cassant au passage sa réputation 100% intrumentale) par la chanteuse soul Kali. Mais avant de reprendre la route des concerts et en attendant de nouvelles compositions, le groupe met les touches finales à son futur premier album, qui sortira à la rentrée. Ambiance garantie... .. ....////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// .. ..The Unknown Project.. was born in the first months of 2006, in Perpignan, Southfrance. Initially gathered with the aim of recording an album which would be a tribute to the "Underground-italian-60's/70's-B-Movies-soundtracks" and especially the "Giallo", the multi-shaped combo took a step on stage to present and impove their work. Inspiring from the live energy, the band will push its music to a bigger level, finding both new musical and visual identity, including decorations, wearing masks that would maintain mystery. The tribute concept would just be the point of start for the creation of their own style of music. Now after four years of intense work, The Unknown Project stands out of the shadow, releasing their debut-E.P. entitled "The Young Lady". A sordid dead-end love story, recorded at the Barabul by Pierre Le Berrigaud and sung by the female soul singer Kali (breaking their 100% instrumental habit). But before they go on the road again and the birth of new compositions, the band is ending to prepare their debut-album, that should be ready next october.
